This quilt was inspired by a local street tree that had
been cut down. I walked past it for days and thought I must
take a photo. Within days it had been ground away to nothing.
While making this quilt I kept thinking of the quote "If
a tree falls in the forest and no one sees it fall - does
it make a sound"
